Can we prevent economic crisis in the future?

Sara Thu, 11/13/2008 - 14:54

for the argument

If the banks had acted with some foresight, instead of going for the 'quick money' then we could have prevented the current credit crunch which is affecting so many economies today. The big corporations need to learn the lesson of long term planning as you cannot sustain an economy that generates less money than it owes!

  • This crisis has many roots: crazy profits, easyness of money invested that distort pricess, unfair trade imbalance,ill-managed companies, irregulations etc....
All unfortunatley men made and part of our nature.
Crisis is the only phenomena that can correct thease.

  • No, the way i see it is, that markets have life cycles. they good up and down - just ike anything else in life. therefor we can really 'prevent' falls. we can only be ready for them - because we know that they will defiantly be coming.
