I had the exciting opportunity to see The Shuk live in action in New York during Hannukah 2009. Their special brand of east-meets-west Jewish music is entirely contagious, unique, and should be heard by young Jewish music listeners the whole world over! I have experienced The Shuk live several times and was blown away each time. Whether it be in a coffee shop, a living room, or a large concert venue, they always manage to create an atmosphere of connectedness, inspiration, and spirituality when they play. When Traditon and Creativity Join at its Best | Anonymous
Inspirational, energetic, moving and spiritual. Music that brings out the good of the audience. Highly recommend! I've heard the Band play a very successful pre Friday Night Service gathering people from all backgrounds. I personally saw how Yoni manages to enrich spiritually the Jewish Identity of young adults on Birthright trips.
If you've heard the Shuk-you should definitely hear them again!

I first met Yoni over 6 years ago in Australia and listening to him play the guitar back then was amazing. Having listened to The Shuk his music along with the othe members is truly brethtaking and very emotional. Yoni you are a true inspiration. Keep up the great work and keep spreading the word. The Shuk came to our Shul about 2 months and performed. Both the adults and kids thoroughly enjoyed the performance and can't wait for them to return later this year.

I love to listen to their music, my daughter, 2 years old loves to dance at it as well. Their music is happy, unique, light, pure and touching. I recently introduced one of their songs to my fellow students in Hebrew class and they where so enthusiastic!! I hope they will perform in Amsterdam soon!

The Shuk is such a special concept. It was created to connect Jews through music and through education. The fuse is wildly successful. They have such a rich background in education and such a relationship with being Jewish. It is exciting to see their hard work and passion come through. Doesn't hurt that not only is the concept behind The Shuk a great one, but the execution is amazing as a result of the talent of the men behind it.

I've known Yoni since I was a child, and as long as I've known him, his passion, not just for music, but more specifically for Jewish music, has always inspired me. At times when I am slipping away from participating in any Jewish activity, Yoni's beautiful harmonious renditions of Jewish music especially in his work with Ami as the Shuk, have been able to reconnect me with my roots. I always look forward to hearing Yoni sing, and can't wait for the next time.

At my summer camp, we are usually treated to dull, one person concerts that fail to bring energy to our fabled "Beit Am Gadol." However, the concert by The Shuk was a different story. Never before have I witnessed the kind of energy that The Shuk brought to our camp, it was a truly amazing concert, unmatched by any other camp concert.
